At Millennia Atlantic University, we are committed to making quality education accessible and supporting our students throughout their academic journey. In addition to merit and institutional awards, MAU offers a range of scholarships designed to recognize achievement, leadership, and community impact.

The scholarships listed below are administered through the Student Services Department. MAU All Program Scholarships

MAU Entrepreneurship Talent Scholarship

The MAU Entrepreneurship Talent Scholarship is designed to recognize and support undergraduate and graduate students, whether domestic or international- who 114 have already demonstrated notable entrepreneurial initiative. Millennia Atlantic University intends this award for applicants who have launched a venture, patented an innovation, or earned recognition in a start-up competition. By investing in these emerging founders, MAU seeks to foster greater innovation and social impact within the university community. Qualified recipients may receive up to $2,800 towards the tuition of any MAU degree program.

Scholarship Eligibility

To maintain scholarship eligibility, students must achieve and sustain a minimum CGPA of 2.5 for undergraduates and a CGPA of 3.50 for graduates, meet SAP standards of the University, remain in good financial standing with regard to any fees and tuition costs not covered by the scholarship, and strictly adhere to all other rules and policies of the University.

Requirements
  • Meet all MAU admissions requirements

  • Submit official transcripts

  • Submit a one (1) reference letter from an educator, mentor, investor, or industry professional, evidence

  • Submit a 500- to 700-word essay titled “My Venture, Its Impact, and How MAU Will Help Me Grow It.” 

    • The essay must be signed and dated by the applicant.

  • Document a meaningful entrepreneurial achievement

  • Submit documentation of entrepreneurial achievement. Such evidence may take the form of:

    • Incorporation papers for a start-up or nonprofit that has been active for at least six months.

    • An official certificate confirming a top-three placement in a recognized business-plan or start-up competition.

    • A provisional or issued patent.

    • Financial documentation demonstrating outside funding or revenue of at least US $5,000.

  • Undergraduate applicants: Must present a CGPA of at least 2.50 from high school or an associate program
  • Graduate applicants: Must present a bachelor’s CGPA of 2.8

MAU Alumni Scholarship

The MAU Alumni Scholarship is dedicated to the encouragement and development of current and future generations of business, accountants, managers, entrepreneurs, and human resource professionals. This scholarship is designed to provide assistance to qualified and deserving alumni who are passionate about advancing their careers and education. Through the MAU Alumni Scholarship, qualified MAU alumni may receive up to $3,000 towards the tuition of any MAU degree program. The award is divided evenly across the total number of credits required for completion and applied directly to tuition each term in which the student remains eligible. Scholarship funds will be applied to tuition charges due each semester. The balance of the amount to be awarded, however, will be divided equally between the total number of credits for the program required for completion and disbursed each semester as the student enrolls in the required semester credit hours taken as part of his or her chosen degree program.

Scholarship Eligibility

Eligible applicants must be MAU graduates admitted into a new undergraduate or graduate program, maintain continuous enrollment, and remain in good academic and financial standing with the University.

Requirements
  • Completed a degree program at MAU in good academic and financial standing

  • Must have obtained a minimum CGPA of: 

    • Undergraduate degree program: 2.00 upon completion

    • Graduate degree program: 3.00 upon completion

  • Submitting a five to eight hundred (500-800) word essay demonstrating they are passionate about advancing their career path and education in business, accounting, = entrepreneurship, or human resources. The essay should be titled “How Advancing My Career Path Will Have a Positive Impact on My Life and My Family.”

  • The essay must be signed and dated by the applicant. The University’s scholarship committee will evaluate applicants’ essays on the following criteria: originality, composition, clarity, and relevance to the topic.

Face to Face Scholarship 

The Face-to-Face Scholarship supports students transitioning from English language study at the Face-to-Face Learning Center to academic degree programs at Millennia Atlantic University. This scholarship is designed to recognize English language achievement and facilitate smooth access to MAU’s undergraduate and graduate offerings.

Qualified recipients will receive a waiver of the application fee ($50) for the first semester, applicable to English Program students who have signed and completed an application form. Additionally, recipients will be awarded a total scholarship of $2,000, divided evenly between their first two semesters. For consecutive semesters thereafter, undergraduate students will receive a $900 scholarship per semester, and graduate students will receive a $1,150 scholarship per semester.

MAU Undergraduate Program Scholarships

Emilia Tirado Undergraduate Scholarship

The Emilia Tirado Undergraduate Scholarship is a need based financial scholarship for new or current undergraduate students. The scholarship allows for an award of up to $12,500 per academic program. The award is divided evenly across the total number of credits required for completion and applied directly to tuition each term in which the student remains eligible after accounting for any other aid, if applicable.

Scholarship Eligibility

To maintain scholarship eligibility, students must achieve and sustain a minimum CGPA of 3.00, meet SAP standards of the University, remain in good financial standing with regard to any fees and tuition costs not covered by the scholarship, and strictly adhere to all other rules and policies of the University.

Requirements
  • Meet all MAU admissions requirements

  • Demonstrate financial need by providing annual household income information

  • Current students must have completed at least 24 credits at MAU

  • Submit a five hundred to eight hundred 500–800 word essay explaining why MAU should award the scholarship

    • The essay must be signed and dated by the applicant.

MAU Graduate Program Scholarships

Puro Maza Graduate Scholarship

The Puro Maza graduate  Scholarship is a need based scholarship for new and current graduate students. The scholarship allows for an award of up to $3,000 for an academic program. The award is divided evenly across the total number of credits required for completion and applied directly to tuition each term in which the student remains eligible after accounting for any other aid, if applicable. 

Scholarship Eligibility

To maintain scholarship eligibility, students must achieve and sustain a 3.00 CGPA; meet SAP standards; remain in good financial standing with any fees and tuition costs not covered by the scholarship; and strictly adhere to all campus rules and policies.

Requirements
  • Meet all MAU admissions requirements

  • Demonstrate financial need by providing annual household income information

  • Current students must have completed:

    • 9 semester credit hours in a spring or fall semester, or

    • 6 semester credit hours in a summer semester.

  • Submit a five hundred to eight hundred (500–800) word essay explaining why the applicant should receive the scholarship.
    • The essay must be signed and dated by the applicant.

Millennia Atlantic Masters Scholarship

The Millennia Atlantic Masters Scholarship is a need based financial scholarship for new MAU master’s level program students.  The scholarship allows for an award of up to $9,590 for an academic program. The award is divided evenly across the total number of credits required for completion and applied directly to tuition each term in which the student remains eligible.

Scholarship Eligibility

To maintain scholarship eligibility, students must achieve and sustain a minimum CGPA of 3.20, meet SAP standards of the University, remain in good financial standing with regard to any fees and tuition costs not covered by the scholarship, and strictly adhere to all other rules and policies of the University.

Requirements
  • Meet all MAU admission requirements.

  • Demonstrate financial need by providing annual household income information.

  • Submit two (2) letters of recommendation from individuals who are not relatives or family members.

  • Submit a 500–800 word essay detailing:

    • Previous education

    • Future goals

    • Why MAU should grant the scholarship to the applicant

    • The essay must be signed and dated by the applicant. Essays will be evaluated based on originality, composition, clarity, persuasiveness, and relevance to the topic.

Graduate Latin American Impact Scholarship

This is a need based financial scholarship provided for student applicants at the graduate level who have successfully graduated and obtained a bachelor’s level degree or equivalent, and demonstrated an interest in improving the lives of Latin Americans. This scholarship allows for an award of up to $11,200 for an academic program. The award is divided evenly across the total number of credits required for completion and applied directly to tuition each term in which the student remains eligible.

Scholarship Eligibility

To maintain scholarship eligibility, students must achieve and sustain a minimum CGPA of 3.30, meet SAP standards of the University, remain in good financial standing with regard to any fees and tuition costs not covered by the scholarship, and strictly adhere to all other rules and policies of the University.

Requirements
  • Meet all MAU admissions requirements

  • Demonstrate financial need by providing annual household income information.

  • Provide evidence regarding your commitment to Latin America – either through a diploma from an institution in the region or from demonstrated efforts to improve the lives of those in the region (for instance, work with Latin American charity organizations, documentation of a charitable mission trip in Latin America, or proof of development work in the region).

  • Submit two (2) letters of recommendation from non-family members or relatives.

  • Submit an autobiographical five hundred to eight hundred (500-800) word essay which details previous education, employment experience, and future professional goals; or, an essay that discusses the student’s definition of a successful career, what matters most in his or her educational program, and which describes with detail plans for the graduate degree he or she is seeking to complete at the University.

    • The essay must be signed and dated by the applicant. Essays will be evaluated by the University’s scholarship committee based on originality, composition, clarity, persuasiveness, and relevance to the topic.

MAU Online Graduate Program Scholarships

MAU Online Merit Scholarship

Millennia Atlantic University has established the MAU Online Merit Scholarship to honor academic achievement among students enrolled exclusively in fully online degree programs delivered in either English or Spanish. The scholarship promotes excellence in the virtual classroom by awarding up to $9,540 for an academic program. The award is divided evenly across the total number of credits required for completion and applied directly to tuition each term in which the student remains eligible.

Scholarship Eligibility

To maintain scholarship eligibility, students must achieve and sustain a minimum CGPA of 3.10, meet SAP standards of the University, remain in good financial standing with regard to any fees and tuition costs not covered by the scholarship, and strictly adhere to all other rules and policies of the University.

Requirements
  • Meet all MAU admissions requirements.

  • Hold a final bachelor’s CGPA of at least 2.5.

  • Submit two (2) letters of recommendation from non-family members or relatives.

Submit an autobiographical essay (500–800 words) addressing either:

  • Previous education, employment experience, and future professional goals; or

  • The student’s definition of a successful career, priorities in their educational program, and detailed plans for the graduate degree they seek to complete at the University.
    • The essay must be signed and dated by the applicant. Essays will be evaluated by the University’s scholarship committee based on originality, composition, clarity, persuasiveness, and relevance to the topic.

Florida Student Scholarship & Grant Program-State financial aid, this goes through the financial aid office since the student also must fill out the FAFSA.
